#ESCStories Series
On March 2, 2015, the Texas System of Education Service Centers launched the #ESCStories series on Twitter to spotlight how regional centers assist schools and help districts save financial resources that can be redirected to classrooms. A new story is shared every weekday.
Across Texas, the system of Education Service Centers connects twenty regions under a single goal: improving student performance. Each regional center operates as a responsive partner to the school districts it serves, sharing resources and expertise that help educators prepare children for an evolving future workforce. By working collaboratively, the centers aim to enable every classroom to succeed with relevant teaching strategies and dependable support.
At the heart of the network is a commitment to serving communities with quality, efficiency, and pride. Service centers develop programs that strengthen curriculum, integrate technology, and build capacity among teachers and superintendents alike. Their mission emphasizes helping districts operate more economically so that resources can be redirected toward students. This collaborative model reflects a shared statement of achievement rooted in the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grow.
Communication plays a central role in how the centers connect with educators and the public. Social storytelling initiatives highlight the everyday ways staff support schools, from assisting with food and nutrition programs to hosting professional learning opportunities for teachers. Short, focused stories shine a light on the people who love this work, showcasing real examples of how regional centers help districts save money and reinvest in classrooms across the state.
By bringing together educators, administrators, and community partners, the service centers continue to hone their craft and anticipate the needs of schools. They offer a variety of services designed to ensure that every district, regardless of size, has access to high-quality support. Through ongoing collaboration, the system remains focused on its guiding purpose: helping Texas students prepare for the future while celebrating the pride found in classrooms and communities throughout every region.
